The funds we raise go towards supporting the Dimbleby Cancer Care and Information and Support Services at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. Our staff work alongside doctors, nurses and other health professionals offering support and information to anyone affected by cancer. All our services are free of charge.
Psychological support: Our team of counsellors, psychologists and psychotherapists are experienced in helping support patients and their loved ones cope with diagnosis, treatment and bereavement.
Benefits advice: Our Citizen's Advice Bureau benefits experts help cancer patients to claim their full entitlements.
Support groups: Provide people with cancer the opportunity to meet other sufferers in a relaxed atmosphere, providing mutual support and understanding.
The information centres: these are drop-in centres are staffed by health professionals who will help patients and carers to find any information they need.
Complementary therapies: Used to relax patients, treatments available through the Dimbleby Cancer Care services include aromatherapy, massage, reflexology, relaxation and stress management, and advice on nutrition and healthy eating.
