St Richard's Hospice is delighted to be working in partnership with Go Dad Run to help increase awareness of men's health issues and raise funds so we can keep providing free, expert care and support to 2,500 adults and their loved ones living with life-limiting illnesses each year in Worcestershire.
With Go Dad Run we are calling upon all dads, sons, brothers, cousins, neighbours, friends and workmates to unite and support our care. At St Richard's we aim to give the best physical, emotional and social support we can to help people live life to the fullest, as independently as they can, for as long as they can.
A hospice is not just a building – it is a way of caring for people. St Richard's provides care in a number of different places including people's own homes, in day services, hospice beds and even by telephone is that is preferred.
Hospice care is free for everyone, and is provided for however long it's needed, which could be days, weeks or months. Hospice care is made possible thanks to the generosity of donors who fund 75% of our income. By taking part in God Dad Run you will be helping us make a difference to people's lives when they really need us. Thank you.
